Professional Engineers of Oregon (PEO) is inviting distinguished engineering firms in Oregon to submit nominations for members of their organization to be the Oregon Professional Engineer of the Year and the Oregon Young Engineer of the Year.

PEO awards committee is reaching out beyond its membership for nominees. We believe that this award will have greater significance if it is representative of Oregon engineers across a broad spectrum, not limited by organizational affiliation. PEO, founded in 1929 as a conduit for information between professional engineers of all disciplines and the public they serve, became affiliated with the National Society of Professional Engineers in 1954. Since 1976, PEO has annually recognized two Oregon engineers nominated by their colleagues for their outstanding accomplishments and commitment to the profession, the community, and humankind. More detail is provided in the nomination packet.
