Carlson Testing – Job Description. We are seeking candidates with 2+ years of related geotechnical engineering experience. The successful candidate will be working on wide variety of projects and clientele in central and eastern Oregon and beyond. The candidate will be responsible for assisting with preparation of proposals and geotechnical reports, development of appropriate foundation and site-related geotechnical recommendations, engineering calculations, project management, project billing management, reviewing the work of staff members, and interacting with the firm’s management team. This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering and an Oregon PE registration. Masters in Geotechnical Engineering and an Oregon GE registration is preferred for candidates, but not required for the position.
