Public Works Director/City Engineer | City of Sweet Home, OR
The City of Sweet Home is seeking a dynamic leader for our Public Works Department! This position will join our Executive Team and oversee management of the City of Sweet Home’s infrastructure, including the execution of our five-year CIP and upcoming upgrades to our wastewater treatment plant. SHN seek a Mid to Senior Civil Engineer, PE for our Klamath Falls, OR office.  The ideal person has an entrepreneurial spirit and at least three years of post-PE experience in planning, technical studies, and design.

A career pathway could be entering as a Project Manager directly responsible for the planning and design of municipal and private engineering projects, development of preliminary plans and specifications, construction documents, cost estimates, bidding support, and construction support activities.  Or, or entering as a Senior Engineer – adding Senior Project Manager responsibilities (on multiple disciplines or large projects), supporting business development efforts, and providing technical direction or mentorship to junior engineers, or computer-aided design (CAD) technicians, or other technical personnel.
