Program Abstract:  TriMet’s Capital Program: The Future of the Battery Electric Bus

Program will address the FTA’s LoNo Program for a TriMet Electric Bus Fleet.  The existing diesel bus fleet will transition to diesel free/R99 fuel and battery powered electric buses.  The planning and capital investments needed to accomplish this and an overview of the Merlo and Powell Garages and the Columbia Bus Base will all be highlighted.

Bio:  Steve Witter directs all aspects of ECP’s planning, development, design and construction, and improvement of TriMet’s transit system, including many state-of-good-repair efforts, the Division Transit Project, the Better Red Project and other work.
